WebService SOPA Testing Jmeter

How to build jmeter test plan for web services SOAP:

In this tutorial, we will learn how to create a Test Plan to test a WebService SOAP. we will create twenty five users that send requests to one page (http://localhost:8888/GreetingWebService). So, the total number of requests is (25 users) x (1 requests) x (repeat 1 times) = 25 HTTP requests. To construct the Test Plan, you will use the following elements: Thread Group , WebService(SOAP) Request , and Graph Results.

Note: Before reading tutorial, How to build jmeter test plan for web services SOAP, go to my post jmeter tutorial for understand the basis thing. In this I'll explain more about SOAP Http request

Let's start:

Open the jmeter from /bin/jmeter.bat
Click on the Test Plan > Change the name: WebService TP for SOAP
Save it: WebService TP for SOAP.jmx

Adding the Users:
Right click on the WebService TP for SOAP > Add > Threads (Users) > Thread Group
Click on the Thread Group > Chang the name: Thread Group for WS Users
Change the value:
Number of Threads (Users) : 25
Leave it other value as it is.
Save it.

Adding the SOAP/XML-RPC Request:
Right click on the Thread Group for WS Users > Add > Sampler > SOAP/XML-RPC Request.
Enter the URL : http://localhost:8888/GreetingWebService
Note: you can refer this with help of  Tutorial WebServices
Save it.

Graph Results
Right click on the "Thread Group for WS Users" > Add > Listener > Graph Results.
Save it.

Summary Report
Right click on the "Thread Group for WS Users" > Add > Listener > Summary Report.
Save it.

Click on the top level item "WebService TP for SOAP" and Start button or Run > Start.
